My first useable yarn!  It’s very, er, frizzy…but unless i’m missing some sooper sekrit vital spinning trick, i’m going to blame the roving, which definitely wasn’t the smoothest stuff in the world.
Specs: 106 g, roughly 50ish yards, WPI 6-8.
This is the last batch of Kool-Aid dyeing I did (the same roving that Chris was sniffing in my last post), plied with undyed.  The plying isn’t even in a few places, but i’m not overly bothered by that.  I’m just happy that I managed to keep the spinning relatively even, without any major lumps cropping up all over the place.  Now I just have to figure out what to do with it…i’m completely clueless.  Next up though, I get to tackle spinning merino, and hoping I don’t manage to make it all frizzy.  I’d love to try spinning a sport or sock weight, but we’ll see how that goes.
